Various Wire Splices

Rising focus on safety in the logging industry has seen Bespoke Wire & Rope engaged on several occasions to splice an eye/loop in the end of the big winch cables.

These cables are spooled on drums on a machine that sits at the top of a slope – these through a series of sheeves, down the mountain side and attach to another machine that cuts down the trees. The cables act as an anchor system and prevent the logging equipment from toppling over in the steep terrain. The cable is constantly moving as the pink machine drives.
